In the time it takes to fill out a form, or dial a telephone, you can donate your unused vehicle, and actually feed a family of four for over two weeks! It’s that simple, because we handle every detail. Every bit of record keeping and administration, including handling your requests to donate; scheduling pick ups; processing ownership transfers; arranging storage and sale of the vehicle; and issuing proper IRS-approved receipts, are the full responsibility of DPA. Plus… we’ll pick up within 24 hours (including Saturdays), and there’s never a charge for towing.
Every donation earns a nice percentage of the net proceeds from selling your old vehicle and its parts. And each vehicle donated guarantees a tax deduction of a least $500. However, in many cases, DPA achieves much higher returns on the value of your vehicle. The more we get for your car, the more you get back from Uncle Sam. If the base value of your vehicle is the minimum $500, DPA will issue a standard charitable-deduction receipt and mail it to you. If the sale of your vehicle exceeds $500, we’ll issue the IRS document Form 1098C, verifying the details of the charitable deduction in excess of $500. The paperwork will be mailed directly to you.
